You walk through the woods located between Meltina and Frassinetto. Especially during summer this is beneficial if you want to escape the heat. The way consists mostly of gravel roads. Arrived at Frasinetto you still have the possibility to continue your way to St. Georgen or upwards to restaurant Tschaufen. Also the highplateau Salto is accessible from here.
By car from the Brenner Pass, take the A22 motorway to the Bolzano Sud exit, then take the MEBO expressway in the direction of Meran until the Terlan exit. From Terlan take the mountain road to Mölten.
This hike starts at Mölten. First of all take path no. 4 and the following no. 4B. They lead directly to your aim Verschneid. On your way back you have to decide to take either the way on which you arrived or path number 12A and 6, until you arrive at the crossroad with way no. 4. It is situaded directly above Mölten and leads you to your starting point.
