The view from the Ciardes weather cross into the Vinschgau and into the Martelltal Valley is wonderful.

Parking lot above the "Niedermoarhof"

Go to the Pardatschhof farm in Monte Trumes by car. Follow path no. 4 upwards to Malga Stierberg and to the peak, the Ciardes weather cross. This hike is not difficult but requires condition and stamina. Return on the same route.

From center village of Kastelbell turn into the Winkelweg and follow the paved road to Monte Trumes to the parking area above the "Niedermoarhof"
